Indonesia Java International Destination – Central Java – Dieng Plateau

Dieng Plateau located in the Central Java region is one of the Indonesia Java International Destination. The Deing plateau is also called as Dieng Volcanic complex and it is actually a complex volcano region. A region is classified as complex volcano if it has an extensive assembly of minor and major volcanic centers which are associated with pyroclastic rocks and lava flows. Dieng Plateau, an Indonesia Java International Destination, is one of the famous tourist destinations, and it is located at a height of about 2000m above sea level and is at a distance of 100 km from Borobudur. The meaning of the name “Dieng” is “abode of gods”. This place also consists of temples that were built in the year of 800 and has colorful lakes surrounding it. On reaching this place, tourists feel that they are almost above the clouds and this plateau is at a distance of 2093m above sea level and it offers two numbers of sunrises namely silver and gold en sunrise. The golden sunrise can be viewed from 5:30 to 6:00 hours and it is the first sunrise and gets its name due to the glittering golden red color. This sunrise can be viewed at a height of 1700m above sea level.
